A Vintage Baker Dining Table which will be the focal point of any dining room in which it is placed. Hand crafted, solid mahogany bases with brass capped feet help define this beautiful “Historic Charleston” table. The table top has been lovingly crafted using the finest available veneers to create a beautiful center field surrounded by bandings of the highest quality, all assembled in the popular “cookie corner” table shape. The table bases are in original condition while the table top has recently been French polished to give it a straight from the showroom appearance. This table includes the original metal furniture labels from the factory, these labels are fastened on the bottom of the table.
Please note that the table comes with pads, although the leaf pads are somewhat small for the leaves. This is shown in the photos.
Baker furniture company has been around since 1890 and their master cabinet makers did an outstanding job of combining finely veneered panels with attractive mahogany solid woods in all of their pieces.
