The Vintage Maitland Smith Secretary Desk comes in two sections. The upper section consisting of a deeply carved and beautifully executed frieze over two glass doors which open to reveal two wooden shelves which are adjustable. The bottom section features a drop front with numerous hidden drawers, along with five larger drawers, each of which are banded and feature beautiful solid brass hardware. All of this rests on beautifully shaped bracket feet of the finest quality
