Based upon designs first popularized in 18th Century New England this Mahogany Ball and Claw Blockfront Chest of Drawers features sold construction as evidenced in the dovetailed drawers as well as the original solid brass hardware. Large, elegantly shaped Chippendale style Ball and Claw feet give the piece a presence and and level of sophistication not often found on the marketplace today. Beautiful as a stand alone item this chest can also be used throughout the home in a variety of settings.

Everything on this item is in original, as found, condition. As with all antique and used pieces of furniture there are some small signs of wear and tear but overall this item is in very good condition. The chest has one key for use in the top drawer.
