A solid teak adjustable deck chair, the Niagara Teak Deck Chair is suitable for use either indoors or outdoors. Originally designed for use on the decks of passenger vessels the steamer/deck chair has become a favorite for relaxing in the backyard or by the pool. The adjustable back allows for numerous seated positions while the wider than usual timbers in the back and the seat of the chair make the Niagara Teak Deck Chair comfortable even without cushions.

Teak wood has been used for boat and outdoor furniture construction for centuries as the wood is well known for it’s weather resistant qualities. If left outdoors the beautiful golden brown color of the wood will assume a silvery grey patina over time giving this deck chair the classic look of furniture found in English gardens. If you wish to restore the teak deck chair to it’s original golden hue we recommend a light sanding with 220 grit sandpaper.

These lounge chairs are cleverly designed in a way that allows them to be folded up when not in use. Solid brass hardware gives the deck chair an sophisticated designer look. A clever design feature allows the foot rest to be removed and reattached without the aid of tools.
