Both elegant and incredibly detailed this beautiful Sterling Oval Desk has everything one could ask for as a center point for any room. Beautiful hand tooled leather forms an elegant writing surface while the top tier of the desk is decorated with an oval inlaid panel which reflects the overall design of the desk.
The oval desk has a large amount of storage space featuring a large drawer in the center and eight small drawers on the top section. Each of these drawers is built using high quality construction with traditional dovetail joints and oak interiors. Inside the largest drawer is the original manufacturers label, a photo of it can be seen in this listing.
Finished all of the way around the oval desk can be used either in the center of a room if desired or as a traditional desk or vanity by placing the back against a wall leaving the tiered front section on full display. The oval shaped desk is a classic design feature which is both difficult and time consuming to achieve. High quality construction throughout is exemplified in the solid, hand carved mahogany legs, capped with hand carved rosettes of the finest quality. The designer style solid brass hardware is of outstanding quality as well.
