From Niagara Furniture a vintage Stickley Furniture Sideboard in excellent original, as found, condition.

Both elegant and incredibly detailed this beautiful Stickley Furniture Sideboard has everything one could ask for as a center point for the dining room. The sideboard has a large amount of storage space featuring two drawers in the center and flanked by two large cupboard areas behind the doors. Inside both of the drawers are factory original silver storage areas which can be removed if needed. Both of the drawers are dovetailed with the secondary portions of the drawers being produced from American oak and both drawers also feature drawer glides for easy opening and closing. As an added bonus the back of the cupboard areas have a narrow spring loaded hidden compartment. What fun!

The serpentine shaped front is a classic design feature and this shape is highlighted on the top of the sideboard and this shaping continues downward and is reflected on both the door and drawer fronts. High quality construction throughout is exemplified in the solid mahogany legs, the designer style hardware as well as the dovetailed drawers. Each cabinet area features a working lock and there is an original key that comes with the sideboard.

This Stickley Furniture Sideboard rests on six fantastic, inlaid tapered legs, each of which is surrounded by beautiful banding near the bottom. The four front legs each have wonderful, fine pin stripe lighter colored inlaid woods turning into bellflowers near the top of the legs. Meanwhile the doors and drawers are each outlined in a fine pin striped inlay pattern as well. All of this is topped off by a richly grained figured mahogany top and capped by a brass back rail raising the height of the piece from 38 inches to 47 inches.
