From Niagara Furniture, an end grain chopping board produced from solid teak wood. Using end grain wood in a chopping board provides a very resilient surface while protecting knives from damage. A smaller size makes it perfect for personal use and smaller jobs in the kitchen. Finished with food grade mineral oil, a colorless and odorless liquid suitable for items which encounter food.

Teak wood is hardy but will last longer with a little bit of special care. We suggest that you hand-wash your item with only mild soap and water and dry right away with a soft cloth. If you avoid air-drying teak items or putting them into either the refrigerator or dishwasher they will look better longer!

Premium quality Teak is a close-grained hardwood that is known for being one of the hardest, strongest, and most durable of all woods. Beautifully crafted, smooth to the touch and very solid. Suitable for us with non-stick cookware.
