A Vintage Blanket Chest brought to you by Niagara Furniture. This stylish piece has fantastic details throughout; all in original untouched condition. The case has been created from the finest mahogany and has been hand dovetailed from top to bottom for added strength. The base is also beautifully detailed in a relief carving that is both hand done and very well executed. The solid brass lock features its’ original “H” key and the solid brass handles on the sides are robust and heavy. The interior is lined in camphor wood which gives the trunk a deep woodsy aroma ideal for long term storage of treasured clothing and weavings. Although designed to stand against a wall the Vintage Blanket Chest is finished on the back as well as the front so this piece could be used anywhere in the room of your choice.
