A great quality piece of American cabinet making as exemplified in this Vintage Kittinger Williamsburg Chest. Renowned for their quality reproductions and adaptations of Colonial Williamsburg furniture Kittinger pulled out all the stops when creating this chest of drawers. Each drawer has it’s own lock, the the top is pegged in place, the drawers are hand dovetailed and the back created from solid wood boards, much like an antique original from the 18th Century.

From the recently French polished top to the base of this cabinet all of the components work together to create a simple yet elegant masterpiece. The Vintage Kittinger Williamsburg Chest  two side by side  drawers, over top three graduated, full width drawers all of which retain the original solid brass pulls.  Each drawer has a lock, one key is included with the piece. All of the drawers are dovetailed for strength and support. Everything on this cabinet is in original, as found, condition but the top has recently been professionally restored to give the item a fresh from the showroom look. Item includes an original branded furniture label. There is one key with the Vintage Kittinger Williamsburg Chest which functions for all the drawers.

Kittinger furniture company of Buffalo NY has been around since 1866 and they are well known for having furnished spaces such as the White House in Washington, DC.  Kittinger is still in business today and their master cabinet makers do an outstanding job of  combining finely veneered panels with attractive solid woods in the door and drawer frames of their pieces.
